NSO Full Form: National Statistical Office.
National Statistical Office (NSO):
The Government has framed an all-encompassing body NSO by combining the National Sample Survey Office (NSSO), Computer Center, and Central Statistical Office (CSO). NSO was first conceived by Rangarajan Commission to execute and keep up with factual norms and direction measurable exercises of Central and State organizations as set somewhere around the National Statistical Commission (NSC). NSO would be going by Secretary (Statistics and Program Implementation). CSO facilitates the measurable exercises in the nation and advances factual guidelines. NSSO is liable for the direct implementation of enormous sample surveys in diverse fields in different fields on an all-India premise.

National Statistical Office: Key Functions:
- Acts as the nodal organization for the arranged improvement of the measurable framework in the country,
