A: I started my career in the Intel Data Center Group back in 2002 as an engineering manager. I was a part of the first team to bring Intel’s Xeon processor family to market. Fast forward to today, I’m the Vice President and General Manager of the Data Center Group. In this role, I’m responsible for driving Intel’s strategy, products, platform solutions, and services for the data center, and making sure we deliver the best possible experience to our customers.
Q: What is your vision for the future of the data center?
A: We’re in a period of major transformation in the data center, and I believe the future of the data center is all about delivering a more secure, efficient, and reliable experience. We’re seeing a shift in how data centers are designed, from traditional on-premise infrastructure to cloud and edge computing. We’re also seeing a shift in how data is used, from batch processing to real-time analytics and machine learning. My vision for the future of the data center is to enable these transformations by providing the most secure, reliable, and efficient experience possible.
